Mikelena Goldberg was raised in her family farmhouse near Lenni, PA. It was there that she explored nature, beginning from a very young age.
She currently lives in Concord, PA with her family - and her adventurous and creative spirit continues to flourish. She is a seeker of nature and beauty, and these elements are portrayed in her artwork.
Mikelena has been doing artwork since her early childhood. In addition to being self-taught, she has studied privately with Karl Kuerner of Chadds Ford who was mentored and taught by Andrew Wyeth.
She has worked in various mediums including oil, watercolor, graphite and colored pencil. Presently, her medium is acrylic.
Mikelena has sold her artwork at Chadds Ford Gallery and The Picture Framers in Media. Her art has been displayed in juried shows at Chester County Art Association.
